READING RADICAL ROMANS:
We will focus on the book of Romans for the upcoming evangelistic series starting April 26. We begin with the approaches Paul takes in his letter. First, an introduction that is more theological, personal and longer than usual. According to R. Kent Hughes, the Apostle Paul is concerned that the Roman people would receive what he has to say before they read his argument. Thus, Paul reveals himself and his theology hoping that if they understand who he is first and what he believes, they will listen to him. You are invited to do the same. Read Paul’s introduction of himself in the book of Romans. He begs us not to “tune him out”.
